Is MedtechPro Accelerate a good fit for me?
If you are an independent medical device consultant, advisor, or free agent or you're on the precipice of becoming one, chances are good that this is an excellent fit for you. Healthtech consultants may also find it beneficial, depending on their target market and stakeholders.
The primary market and stakeholders to whom we promote and engage are medical device startups and SMBs, investors (VCs and angels), as well as journalists and conference organizers.
If you are a medical device C-level executive or VP, you may be better served with our MedtechExec Illuminate membership.
Why do I need an invitation to join as a Founding Member?
We've put our heart and soul into Synaptx and the MedtechPro Accelerate program. As we get our feet wet with this nascent platform we've built, we are eager to bring on Founding Members who demonstrate a commitment to medtech startups and a willingness to contribute their insight into industry in addition to sharing how we can further develop and refine the platform offerings to best serve their needs as a consultant.
A Founding Member is someone who wants to build with us as we move across the first of many finish lines so we want to ensure that we're a good fit for each other.
Why is the Founding Member membership fee so deeply discounted?
MedtechPro Accelerate is in its late beta phase and our directory, MedtechExpert.Org, will not be publicly live until November 2023. In exchange for joining us during the beta phase and helping us to iron out the wrinkles and populate our directory, we are offering Founding Members an outstanding reduction in annual fees. Renewal at that rate, no matter how much the standard rate increases, is a gesture of appreciation and reciprocal loyalty.
If I'm invited to join, what is the process and timeline for onboarding?
Your invitation will include a special promo code to join MedtechPro Accelerate at the discounted rate. Once registration is complete, you'll receive a welcome email with an intake form and a link to book a strategy call. Strategy determined and your collateral (photos, resumé, links, etc) received, we'll get to work building your page on MedtechExpert.Org and activating your operations and video conference app accounts.
Within 10 days, via email, you'll receive a link to your custom portal containing all your links and resources and you'll be on your way to launching the best version of your consulting self.
What if I only do consulting/advising/freelancing in between corporate gigs?
Then you are in good company and have hit the jackpot. A significant number of C-level executives in the medical device industry fall back on consulting in between corporate exits and we've worked with quite a few of them. Positioning you so that you cross the radar of Board Directors to best advantage is not only in our wheelhouse, it is our wheelhouse. Your bespoke strategy will be tailored to attract the attention of Hiring Committees, Boards and recruiters while building your authority as a consultant or advisor.
Synaptx also offers an executive search service to medtech startups and SMEs and if you're a potential fit, we'll most certainly be in touch but you are in no way obliged to become a MedtechPro Accelerate member to be considered for such opportunities. How does this benefit me if I don't have the time or interest in writing articles or creating collateral for industry?
Above all, we believe that you shine most brightly when you are your own authentic self. MedtechPro Accelerate is a high touch program in that each member gets a bespoke strategy that addresses their specific objectives, interests, personality, and ideal client. Tactics and tools follow that strategy and needn't involve your participation in creating content for public consumption. If you change your mind, the door for collaborative opportunities is always open.
