We get it. We too are naturally skeptical.
TLDR: We had high demand for two essential elements of our premium services - custom, modern/clean, stakeholder-compelling websites and a medtech specific directory where professionals across North America could be found by their area of speciality. So we developed a cost-effective and sustainable way to do that and now we need our first batch of users to help us refine our processes and help us make the directory exactly what you want it to be. We are aiming for April. After building the infrastructure for the directory almost two years ago we found a more stable and user friendly platform to build on so we've spent the last year rebuilding it. It's operational and pretty darn good looking now but your feedback will help us define extra features and refine its appearance and usability. It's been a long time coming so we appreciate you helping us get it just right.
What is 'Managed Hosting'

Do you supply the domain name for my website?
We do not purchase domain names on our clients' behalf as this is problematic from an ownership & compliance perspective. It's best practice for you to buy your own domain name (we recommend Namecheap.com) but we're happy to help you choose your domain name and connect it to your new website.
Who owns the copyright to my website?
You own the rights to your images and copy on the website. This does not imply or infer any ownership, trademarks or technical IP for the platform on which your site is hosted.
What if I don't have great headshots for you to use?
No worries, we've got you covered. We will work with what you have and suggest workarounds, even when there is very little visual collateral to work around. This is not our first rodeo, so we have many tricks up our sleeves for enhancing your less than high res images or creating visuals that convey your message without you being in them. Some people are never going to be ready for their close-up. We respect that.
What if I don't like the deliverables?
Our process is designed to collect accurate intel and elicit your feedback at the design stage. You'll always have a clear sense of the direction we're headed and will have two opportunities to request major revisions or tweaks before finalizing and going live. Once your website is complete, you'll have access to make any changes or updates you like and if you mess up, we'll do our best to restore it for you.We've been building online branding for a long time and know what works, particularly for medtech and consultants, so to some degree you'll have to trust us to bring out your best. We want you to be proud to show off our work so our reputation is at stake too!
Synaptx builds my website, covers the hosting, and I get a profile in the medtechexpert.org directory for one year, What happens after that first year.
After the first year, you can renew your membership in medtechexpert.org for $375 and we'll continue to host your site as part of your membership.
If you'd prefer not to renew your membership with medtechexpert,org or you would like to manage your site yourself, we will transfer your site to a self-hosted account on the same platform, through which you'll be responsible for the hosting costs and content management. If you elect to transfer your website files to a different website builder platform, we'll provide the files but you'll be responsible for the technical implementation.
*Please note that it's not always feasible to transfer a website from one builder/hosting platform to another without data loss.
